12 team 5x5 Roto 1250 IP Limit - Keeper League (keep 10)
Slight alteration to my previous post... I now give away Ryan Howard, Dan Uggla, Gio Gonzalez and Michael Pineda and I get Miguel Cabrera, Jered Weaver and Dustin Ackley...
The curve ball to this trade is he and I are battling for first, and it's basically down to just us two. What are your opinions of this trade for this year and going forward?

That's a tough one. My instict says to stick with Uggla and Howard. Uggla is really coming around, and while it would be nice to land Miggy and Weaver, your've got a nice bat and two nice arms already in Howard and Gio/Pin. My only concern is whether Pineda gets shut down, which is likely.
Very tough one, for this year I think I would stick with Howard.
For the future it gets even tougher as Howard will continue to decline while Ackley rises, but at least for the nex 2 years still Howard because Gio and Pineda will improve.
I'm changing my answer. In a keeper league, I'm taking MCab and Weaver. You are not throwing in the towle this season by taking this deal, and you are setting yourself up nicely with two top keepers for the future.
I think it is an even trade, but, as a disclaimer, I've never played in a ten-keeper league. My keeper only keeps four, so perhaps I look at things from a smaller perspective. I just see you ending up with the two best players in the deal. It leaves you with these ten (who I would keep):
