Crawford/Greinke for Ellsbury

Postby LloydChristmas » Mon Jul 25, 2011 10:45 pm

Keeper league but the "catch" is that Crawford can not be kept but Greinke can at a 5th round pick and Ellsbury can be kept at a 7th round pick.

Without knowing which side I'm on and otherwise in a vacuum, which side gets the better end of this one.

Thanks and WHIR of course.

I suppose I should clarify. It's:

Crawford and Greinke

for

Ellsbury

I would want the Ellsbury side no doubt...keep for a 7th rounder? great deal.

Greinke for a 5th rounder = not a good keeper

Crawford - looks like he's rebounding but not worth giving up Ellsbury as a keeper.

Even if you're trying to win now, you're losing a top performing OF that you cannot replace.

Yup Ells side won this deal.

Crawford not having a good year so far and cant be kept, which Greinke is not a good keeper with a 5th.

Ellsbury for a 7th?!?!?!? YES PLEASE

My apologies, I read that all wrong. For the keeper league the Ellsbury side won purely cause Crawford cant be kept and you get Ellsbury in the 7th. But if you are trying to win this year, I think the Crawford and Greinke side is better.

as much as i love grienke, ellsbury as a 7th round keeper is a steal. there is no one that produces like ells.
