I give David Wright and Nelson Cruz

I get Joey Votto, Drew Stubbs, Kevin Gregg, Jon Rauch

I hate to give up Wright, but I wouldn't mind shedding Cruz's salary ($37) which would make him hard to keep.

As much as I like Stubbs, I probably wouldn't be keeping him.

I wouldnt do that either. Wright and Votto are very close, I may give the edge to Wright based on positon. Stubbs and Cruz are also somewhat similar but Cruz is clearly better so I think I would hold off.

However if you are out of the playoffs it appears to come down to Wright for Votto, Now that I see your roster and hvaing Youk at 3B, I think I would go with it

I think you should be able to get more in return for Wright and Cruz, especially since he is trying to trade you two very shaky closers. See if he can up the ante at all, and if not, then it shouldn't be to hard to find someone else who will trade for Wright/Cruz.

It would help to know a little more bout the keeper situation. As is, for this season, I'd certainly rather have the Votto side for this season as back injuries can linger and sap power, and Wright's production wasn't great even before the DL Stint. However, if this is purely deal looking toward next year, it depends on the contracts of all involved. How much is Votto? Wright? Stubbs? Do you already have your 4 keepers lineup up? If Votto and Wright were equal in terms of contract, I'd still rather have Votto. If you'd end up keeping Stubbs on a favorable contract, then the deal is a no brainer.

I like this deal for you basically because Wright scares me the last couple of years and it sounds like your contract on Cruz isn't working for you. The only part of this I don't like is the fact that the other players he is giving you aren't worth much it seems to me, especially those closers and it sounds like you wouldn't even keep Stubbs. Is there nothing else he can offer you in place of those three?
