Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

Should I just drop Snider or Pena or do you think it would be a better move to try and trade Norris or Danks for a draft pick? There are reports that Pena will definitely be traded and it looks like it will be to the Diamondbacks or the Pirates. Do you think this trade will help him?
I'm having a tough time deciding if I should keep the extra pitcher or keep the extra power, what do you guys think?

hmm its a touch choice Snider has picked it up since being recalled and Pena has slipped lately I would play it safe and maybe drop Snider unless you do plan on possibily keeping him the player you want to pick up in place of Beltre in the meantime is Encarnacion he's been on a tear the past month

I would dump Snider...definitely more worth with Pena.

Nunez for Snider.

Tough choice, but I'd rather have Carlos Pena on my roster than Travis Snider if we're just talking about UTL/Bench.
For my 3B replacement I'm going to add Chase Headley who has a bit of pop and some speed as well. Bartlett, Maybin, Headley...the Pads lineup is starting to put some things together recently.
So...drop Snider for Headley.

So you think it's a smarter idea for me to just drop Snider then to try and trade Bud Norris? If I keep Norris I will have great SP depth so that's a plus, but if I drop Snider I am losing a potential keeper pick.

I guess I would pursue trade options first, but I figured since you were having a difficult time pulling trades that you might not want to keep trying.

Thanks for the quick response. So do you think I should attempt to trade Bud Norris or Travis Snider? Bud Norris could potentially be a 13th round draft pick next year and Travis Snider would be a 15th.
Should I attempt to trade Bud Norris and Carlos Pena for Freddie Freeman and a 18th round pick?
Freeman could be kept as a 13th round pick next year.
