Espinosa has been great, but slumping hard lately. I have Uggla and I was playing Espinosa in place while Uggla slumped. I feel Uggla's average will stink, but his power is back and that's what I drafted him for. I need some speed, but can't afford using another move unless "the experts" (That's anyone responding) feels Jennings will provide that lightning in a bottle.
With only 4 moves left for the season, would you take a risk on Jennings?
If it helps, I just dropped Snider to get Jennings. I can afford to try him out as I am playing the last place guy this coming week and I have a fairly large size lead going into today.
Upton becomes trade fodder with the promotion of Jennings, and while I am giving up more power with Snider, I am gaining 4 tools out of 5 with Jennings. And Jennings does have some pop based on his AAA stats, so definitely take a chance before someone else does.
Here's my roster. You'll see that I have lots of RPs and I recently switched it up because my SPS are so bad compared to other teams. Since I made the switch to loading up with RPs, my pitching numbers have improved. As for hitting cats, I usually win all the power categories and come close to winning on SBs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Rajai Davis is also available, but I've owned him already and he frustrates me. So who, if anyone should I drop to pick up Desmond Jennings? Or should I leave him alone. Hitting Cats: R H HR RBI SB BB AVG OBP

This is exactly what I was thinking. Get rid of a RP and pick up Jennings. Then immediately try to trade some offense for defense. Guys sitting on the bench don't do you much good at this point.
i'm not really sure.. but since both have cooled off dramatically i would think mid-level guys.. maybes, buehrle, marquis, lannan, maholm, dank, dempster. i'm just guessing and other people will give you more likely trades.. but i wouldn't think you could shoot the moon with guys that were smoking the 1st half and are now just steady. i'm in the same boat.. i got espinosa riding the pine but nobody willing to make a decent trade for him.
