I am currently 9.5 games out of the playoff picture and am thinking about making a big move before the trade deadline, but I'm not sure which direction I should go. There are no particular scoring categories (with the exception of walks) that stand out as needing serious improvement.
Reyes has obviously attracted alot of attention on the trade market and I'm thinking about dealing him for a quality OF or 1B. Viable trades could involve Votto or Holliday. Do you think I should deal Reyes in my current situation. I hate to dump him because he does it all.
What do you think??

My current roster is listed below:
Hitters C - M. Napoli 1B - B.Butler 2B - R. Weeks 3B - E. Longoria SS - Jose Reyes OF - J. Hamilton OF - B. Boesch OF - C. Hart Util - G. Sanchez
BN - OF- N. Swisher BN - 3B,SS,OF - E. Bonifacio
Pitchers SP - M. Cain SP - Z. Grienke RP - D. Storen RP - B. League P - D. Hudson P - J. Cueto P - C. Carpenter
BN - P - C. Lewis BN - RP - A. Bastardo BN - P - J. Chacin
I think in your current positon it would greatly benefit you to deal Reyes. With him going crazy you are still out of the playoffs. Opposed to trading him for 1 guy though, I would say in return for 3 viable peices will get you in the playoffs
I think you need to keep reyes for his steals . Votto isn't having a year like he had last year. I do like Holliday but I think I like Reyes more. Thanks for the help with mine.
I would probably say stick with him, because who would be playing instead of him, bonifacio? I think that your replacements at the other positions are not as bad as replacing Reyes at SS. If you can find a better replacement than that I say go far it.
Thanks for the help. I really like my team on paper but the results have not been so hot. I think I am going to just wait it out and hope my team performs.
I don't think you have to trade him, but I think you should at least see what you can get for him. I would try to get a 1st baseman, since butler has been pretty bad this year. Maybe you could get A. Gonzo. I also don't think Bonifacio is a bad replacment, he is in the middle of a 22 game hit streak.
