Would like some help to land a top SS (Tulo/Acab) - WHIR

Obviously my team needs a shakeup, and I was looking at the other teams to see what I might be able to work out I saw a nice fit.

Asdrubal Cabrera and Troy Tulowitzki are on the same team, and that team is in fourth to my fifth in the standings right now. (We actually have identical records, and he has the tiebreaker.)

Trading is hard to do in my league, so I want to overwhelm him while still retaining a decent core. Considering he has 6 SPs, could use a 1B upgrade, and an OF bat....

My Michael Morse, Francisco Cordero(any closer really...), a SP (maybe Latos or Chacin?), and maybe an extra bat? (Freeman? Rasmus?)

So, my league is hard to trade in, and I will have to overpay a bit, but I figure if I can give a piece in every area he could stand some help in, he might bite even though the quality isn't overwhelming. (Considering he has Jackson/Moreland/Rios, I think he has pieces to drop.) If anyone has advice about what would be enough to get the deal done, I'd appreciate it.

Tulo is an elite player, and I wouldn't give him up unless I'm getting comparable elite-ness. Off your team I'd need either Verlander, Pujols or Zimerman to get the conversation started.

Well, my objective is to get a consistent producer without losing one of my only sources of life on my team. I would try Zimmerman, but he already said he doesn't want Zimmerman.

You are better off asking for Cabrera instead. It likely will take less for you to obtain him. Tulo will mean one stud player in return which seems unlikely on your end

Okay then, assuming Zimmerman, Pujols, McCann, and Verlander are not involved, is it feasible that I could land Cabrera (or any other high end SS/OF option?) I know Ellsbury is possibly available...

What about Jhonny Peralta? He's had some great numbers for a SS, and is probably more in your price range. In fact, I almost like JP more than Asdrubal going forward the rest of the year.

Well, if we're including JP in the conversation, I'd rather chase an OF rebound candidate like crawford or something.
