Hamels for Mariano and JJ

Postby amarlls » Sat Jul 23, 2011 12:14 pm

Ok I got offered Mariano Rivera and JJ Putz for my Cole Hamels? We have a closer heavy daily roto keeper league and I need to have some solid closers to fit in during off days of starters. I am dominating in SP categories (wins and Ks) Need to improve ERA and Whip but these closers would help there. Should I do this? He also has Kimbrel, storen, dont think hell do kimbrel instead of JJ

No way do I deal a top arm for an aging closer and another injury risk. I might do Hamels for his Storen and Kimbrel though. NO WAY to other.

4 keepers. Im not really looking to find keeper closers im looking to bring myself back this year and win it. What you think Kimbrel, storen, santos, JJ, rivera?

I would go with Kimbrel and Storen or Rivera. I think Rivera would be the safer choice but I could understand if you wanted Storen instead. Definitely grab Kimbrel though, his numbers are ridiculous and I dont see him slowing down any.

First off i wanna say Kimbrel is the Man.

Ok, that said keep Hamels. Closers are a dime a dozen. A bet u can pick up half a dozen as the trades start happening. Not a top tier but a closer non the less.
