this seems to be more of a real baseball thread, but I'll derail it by talking fantasy.
There is a team in my keeper league called Incredibly Taguchi. In the 7 years that this league has been going on, I have never beaten them in a head-2-head matchup. there have been two years that I won the league and they finnished near the bottom, still did not beat them. that comes down to 0-18 lifetime against them.
if there is such thing as a Horcrux, this is mine.

Given the relative patience shown last season by Atlanta's batters and the total lack of discipline shown by this season's team, I'm not sure we really moved the ball forward on our hitting coach.

This. I can't bear to watch Gomes anymore.

Thankfully they are confirming Reddick is the guy for now
Worst part is theo basically drove up the market on himself, too much manlove
Theo has been particularly awful in terms of FA signings... I don't know why everyone gives him credit.

Ugh, as a Brewers fan there's been several choices this year. Mark Kotsay and Casey McGehee would be at the top of my list, but Kotsay barely plays and Casey at least has a little bit of a recent MLB track record of success (thought my patience there has just about worn off completely...it's time to promote Taylor Green to at least platoon with Casey).
The answer has to be Yuniesky Betancourt. Perhaps the worst regular starter in the bigs. I've never seen a "shortstop" with as bad a range as Yuni B, and the .267 OBP doesn't help matters. Completely worthless. I would take just about anything else at this point. I'm hoping we can pull the trigger on a minor deal here before the deadline, maybe a Jamey Carroll or a Jason Bartlett.
