Has there been a manager who has failed to follow typical protocol as much as this guy? The leashes he gives guys is incredible. From bad position players to something as simply as running pitchers into the ground in games (let alone seasons). Seems like everytime I've watched the Reds this season, he lets the pitcher hit in a good pinch-hit spot. Not only does he fail here but then the pitcher usually gets into trouble in the next half inning and ends up yanking him anyways. U*G*H!!!

With a 1W, 15K, 1.00 ERA and .43 WHIP lead I'm sitting Gio (at NYY) and bills while starting Bum and Gallardo against each other. Or maybe I should just start everyone.
veresy with a hit, hit and hit on his start/sit
actually .. hit, hit, hit, hit. I started Bumgarner
i had solid pitching across the board today. in my H2H, Coco's win in Cincy, plus his two k's gave me a 10-1 thumping over the third place team, and i now find myself out front with five to play...
so much for my "all they need is a big bat or two" theory ...
Seattle Mariners manager Eric Wedge shaved off his mustache before the game Sunday, July 24, against the Boston Red Sox to try and change the team's luck, but they were unable to avoid their franchise-record 15th consecutive loss. The Mariners now have the second-longest losing streak in the past 15 seasons, trailing only the 2005 Kansas City Royals, who dropped 19 in a row.
