rare opening in deep, competitive, longtime keeper league

Postby bamawill » Tue Mar 30, 2004 4:56 pm

I play in one of the very oldest internet keeper leagues, and we have had an owner leave us at the last minute due to a personal emergency.
The draft is this Saturday, April 3, at 12:00 ET. The league is very deep, NL only, 5x5, and it's full of pretty experienced players. 13 teams, 25-man rosters, 12-man bench, 15-man minors system.
Entry is $50...there's 100% payback to four places. Winner usually gets about $250 I think. It's a money league, but it's not a big-money league, and because it's a keeper league, it's a very long-term thing. The team that is available is not the worst team in the league by far, but it's not the best. This is the sort of thing that is ideal for a serious fantasy player (or one who wants to become a serious player) who is interested in playing competitively and building a franchise over several years.
It's a rare opening in an unusually deep and competitive league. If you are interested, or know anyone who is, please email me asap @ mailto:bamawill@comcast.net.
