With David Wright getting ready to come off the DL, and having just traded for Starlin Castro I find myself with a logjam and no catcher.
I will have to make some room for Wright.
1B Prince
2B Phillips
3B Panda
SS Alexei
IF Castro
LF Gardner
CF Kemp
RF Ethier
OF BJ Upton
U Carlos Lee
U Papi
I was considering moving Alexei (put Castro at SS, Wright at 3B) and wanted some input.
The best FA catcher is Ianetta, but I would like better then him, if possible. I was thinking of trying to get McCann or Victor Martinez in a trade (sending over Alexei). In a dynasty league would a straight 1 for 1 trade of either McCann or Martinez be a fair trade? What about Hafner?
All advice appreciated and WHIR!!!

ROS Ramirez > Castro
Interesting. I was much higher on Castro. I just acquired Castro in a trade for Storen, so it would be like trading Storen for VMart, which wouldn't be too bad.
Definitely gives some food for thought.

Actually, I misspoke. The guy didn't want Storen and chose Cordero over him, so even better. It would be like trading Cordero (who I got thrown in while acquiring Jurrjens/Sandoval a week ago) for VMart. Thats pretty much VMart for free if I can pull that.

Well V-Mart will lose his 1B eligibility in a few years because he will be 6 feet under in a few years. Which is why McCann would be much harder to get and Alexei wouldn't be enough.
