FAAB
It's way more fun, way more exciting. Everybody gets a shot at anybody.
I have no idea why any league wouldn't want to use this.
How does this work? My understanding is that there is no FA and every player has to be bid on? This happens once a week? I lose my 1B on Monday and can't replace him until next Monday?
That's pretty much how many football leagues do it. There's a period of FA (first come first served) too. In the case of a daily game like baseball where many leagues have daily lineups, it would be necessary to have larger rosters to allow owners a chance of giving themselves cover if an injury happens, IMO.

yep, everybody gets to bid on every free agent once a week. Usually on Sunday. And yes if you lose a player early in the week, you're screwed. But it's only for a couple of days.

"WWAB" is actually a pretty nice reconciliation of the two. You have 2-3 day waivers then the players become free agents, like with daily league rolling waivers, but instead of priority order, the waiver claims are determined by bid amounts. It combines the flexibility of rolling waivers with the "everybody gets a chance" freedom of FAAB
