I've been able to put together a pretty nice looking lineup in the 5th year of my keeper but I think I may need another front-line SP to put me over the top.
Looking at my lineup, would you deal one of my bats for another SP or would you sit tight?
Would you contemplate a Hanley/Hamels for Reyes/JJ type deal or am I selling myself short? Maybe flip Votto or Teix for another ace like a Kershaw or CC plus another serviceable bat?
Just looking for some ideas
12 teams H2H 5x5 (OBP instead of AVG and QS instead of W's) 8 Keepers
C Montero 1B Votto 2B Weeks 3B Young SS Reyes OF Kemp,Granderson,Holliday UT Teix
SP Verlander,Price,Gio,Bumgarner,Garza RP Walden,Nathan DL J.Johnson
If your looking to make something happen, I'd opt for moving Reyes or Tiex for a top tier SP like the ones you mentioned. I don't think I'd go in looking for a bat in return, as you've got a serviceable replacement in Hardy/Swisher. Maybe look for CL as a second player in return.

I would tend to agree with holding firm here. Verlander is obviously a stone cold ace but I really like Price/Gio/Bum and you have a solid guy in Norris on the bench. You could make a move like Cream suggested but I would say don't mess with what you have going right now.
I'd see if I couldn't pair a pretty hot Hardy with say Bumgarner or even Gio and see if I couldn't rope a solid starter that way. But if you don't think that would work then I'd prob just hang tight and see if you can't get by w/what uve got/waivers. Thnx for the help on mine.
If I were you I would try to move one of you STUD 1B for a top catcher and pitcher. You definitely have the players on your team to easily accomplish this task. Best of luck!
I would look at moving Reyes, once he gets few more great games under his belt trade him off, im not as high on him long term just because im worried he will be injured. There re some good SS floating around the league and there will continue to be, example Hardy will be a good stop gap for this season at least, Starlin, Cabrera. I think you have enough bats to do it. You could even combo it reyes and garza for basically anyone you want.

I would never deal Tex just for a stud pitcher by themselves. Massive downgrade. If your trading him, deal Tex+Montero for McCann, Weaver, Trumbo type of combo?
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!

I just dropped Capps for Harang. He seemed like the best SP available as the FA pool is pretty thin:
EJackson, Dickey, Niese, Niemann, Leake, Maholm
What about Teix or Votto plus Montero for McCann, Kershaw and possibly a Gaby Sanchez?

I agree with this approach as well. Thanks for the help with mine.
