A-Rod....would I be crazy to make this offer?

Would I be completelt craze to make the following trade offer in my keeper league:

I give:

A-Rod
Madison Bumgarner
B. Parnell

I get:

M. Rivera (saves)
M. Young (position flexibility....runs)
Coco Crisp (steals)


It's a 10-team, 5x5 roto keeper league.
We get to keep 10 players per season....no restrictions.

My current team is:

c: Posada
1b: P. Konerko, B. Butler
2b: B. Phillips
3b: J. Bautista, A-Rod
ss: T. Tulowitzki
of/util: C. Crawford, J. Hamilton, J. Upton, T. Hafner, A. Pagan

sp: T. Lincicum, C. Hamels, J. Gallardo, S. Marcum, M. Bumgarner, J. Cueto, J. Chacin
rp: D. Hernandez, A. Bastardo, M. Melancon, K. Gregg, B. Parnell, M. Adams, F. Rodriguez
note: we only get to start 3 RP's in our league....so my large collection of mediocre closers isn't doing me much good.

I am currently in 2nd place....but 1st place has a very large lead (but not insurmountable)......and 2nd place thru 6th place are all tightly grouped (only 8.5pts seperates 2nd and 6th place).

The categories I need the most help in are Runs, Steals and Saves. I also need to make up ground in ERA and WHIP.


Since this is a keeper league, I feel like I need to trade A-Rod to a team that is looking to improve their keepers. Would I be completely crazy to make the above trade offer? I know I am hurting my list of keepers for next year by giving away A-Rod for a closer and some role-players.....but am I helping myself enough this year to make it worthwhile?

Not the worst deal but is there somebody better than Crisp? He's likely to be injured for the rest of the year as soon as you click accept.

I don't like it. The keeper loss is big and you really don't get much with Crisp. I agree with Red, you gotta get someone better in there.

If you are afforded that many keepers.
If you do anything maybe deal Konerko and Arod to get younger keepers?
