Add McGehee for Ike?

Postby redskincow » Wed Jul 20, 2011 9:09 am

Need to add some depth for playoff push... I think McGehee still has some gas in the tank (especially since he plays for MIL)

Other WW options: Kotchman, Revere, Reddick, Ordonez, Nolasco, Vasquez

Drop Ike Davis for him? Seems like he's a lost cause..even if he comes back, I'd be surprised if he has an impact. I'm leaning towards McGehee or Nolasco...either would give me flexibility to trade a 3B and SP for a better Offensive player (like Howard, maybe Miggy)

I like adding McGeHee here and I agree I think there is gas left in the tank. I'm also becoming a quick fan of Reddick if he stays in the starter role. He's got .375 average, 18 RBI, 18 Runs and 4 HR already in only 75 AB.

Since Ike said he's done for the year probably, I'd drop him especially since you can't keep him. Could you trade him to someone who could use him next year?

I would probably pick up Nolasco or McGehee and hope he rebounds. I'm not too thrilled with the other options

Huff for Reddick or more importantly Nolasco for depth. (Pineda = shut down in the stretch run)

I actually just traded for Huff, hoping for a better 2nd half...

I traded Kimbrel & Gordon for Greinke & Huff...

I love Gordon but Greinke is solid and Huff can't get much worse.

You think Reddick is here to stay?
