In a 14 team league and you have no stud pitchers besides buchholz I would not give up probably your 3rd best SP to have a minor upgrade in the OF especially since you have more depth at that position than any.

I'd hang tight on Beachy based on your team makeup.

Ya I hear ya.
I guess I kind of feel like Seth Smith is dying a little. Figured Victorino was a pretty big upgrade over Smith, and then I'd just use his roster spot to grab a 2 start pitcher each week.

So we're saying that Victorino wouldn't be an upgrade over Pagan, Gardner, or Seth Smith? Really?

Last time I checked, Victorino has a better OBP than Pagan and Smith by a wide margin (JUST loses out to Garder by 1 point), has more HR's than all three, and more RBI's than Pagan and Gardner....AND he has missed the last 8 games or so.

I think he's an upgrade over all three, with MAYBE an argument being made for Gardner.

I personally would do this trade...especially in a non-keeper. Pitching can always be found on the waiver wire, especially towards the end of the year when guys are being capped and/or given rests before the playoffs, and you can catch lightning in a bottle with their replacements (just look at what Worley and Kendrick have done for the Phils recently in place of Blanton and Oswalt).
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

I'd do the deal. Beachy is good but there are gonna be some rough ones. Victorino is a stud hitter and is a certain upgrade over your last 3 outfielders. Maybe try to add one in and get a pitcher back too? The guy can be rough you just need an arm.

You make great points, just not sure it is worth trading his 3rd best SP for more OBP.

Everyone making good points. I think in a vacuum this one's a no brainer to accept. However with my other pitchers, it does become more of a question mark.

I'd say my best are SP are:
-Buc
-Bum
-Morrow
-Then Beachy and Scherz around 4th.

I actually ended up dropping Seth Smith for Brandon Belt because my CI is a little shaky, so I'm now using Belt at CI and Moreland at UT. Wouldn't mind getting Victorino in there somehow.
