cc/ubaldo or hanson/jaime WHIR

Who would you rather have the rest of the year? I just offered Hanson and Jaime for them, but I'm having second thoughts.

My staff:
Verlander, Hanson, Jaime, Norris, Wandy, Saunders
DL- Johnson, Oswalt

Keep what you have... Ubaldo seems to have turned a corner.

I think it is probably a wash. Ubaldo has been better recently, but Hanson and Garcia aren't necessarily sell high candidates.

I would keep that offer on the table.

It's a toss-up, but I lean slightly on the CC/Ubaldo side of the deal. CC is a horse, and will keep raking in the wins, Ks, and IP. Hanson simply may not be as durable. Ubaldo is a medium-risk, high-reward pickup -- as is Garcia. Slight edge.

I take CC Ubaldo because Ubaldo has turned the corner and CC has been lights out and traditionally is a second half beast.

I like the CC/Ubaldo side because:

1: They shouldn't have an innings cap.
2: Sabathia will get you a few more complete games, or close to it.
3: Ubaldo is 4-1 with a 3 ERA in his last 6 starts.

;-D I completely agree. Even though I am a huge fan on Hanson. CC is the best pitcher in the deal, and Ubaldo has looked great his last couple of starts.

I also like the CC/Ubaldo side. Like the rest said CC is the best player in the deal and Ubaldo has looked good and back to himself once again.

if you can get cc/ubaldo you should do it. i doubt they take the trade tho... cc is a monster and ubaldo is looking more and more like his old self.

not to mention there's talk of trading ubaldo. right now he pitches in a great hitters park.. if he moved to less friendly park for hitters it'll probably help his stats come on down. this is all just rumors, but still worth bringing up.

take the deal if you can get it. don't think twice.
