ATLbraves wrote:Definitely wouldnt take the second trade, but I would take the first deal since you have a lot of good options on the WW.
I would rank the WW's in this order:
1. Freeman
2. Trumbo ( trumbo and freeman are very close imo )
3. Pena
4. Adam Dunn

thanks for the help with mine

I'd say first deal, drop Martin, get Freeman.

I'd even try to include Martin instead of dropping him and see if you can pry Buchholz away...I got him on the cheap, and if the docs are right and once his back is healed it's healed, then he could be pretty solid the last month or so, especially if Boston makes any trades to beed their lineup at the deadline (Beltran? RH OF?)

okay.. thanks for the replies so far. those i havn't returned the help yet, i will tonight when i get off work.

a couple other options maybe..

votto/suzuki/aybar for tulo/konerko/santana

votto/presley/jeter for tulo/hamilton/santana

I dunno, there are a lot of options and i think most anything is workable. This guy doesn't play regularly and i think he's basing his trades off of name value or points accumlated over the enter 2011 season so far. such as.. suzuki holds power just beacuse it's ichiro, even if he's having an off year.

im thinking a way to grab konerko would be great... dunno if that's possible tho.

Both of those other trades are in your favor too. Only thing about the first one I don't like is you are losing a ton of SB. But I still think you do it cause you improve a lot in the other categories.
