Help with Votto trade.. leave link for WHIR (always!)

this is a points only league where pitchers have big returns.

This guy wants a trade... and he's a huge reds fan and is talking about votto. I'm okay with that, but in trading votto i need to get a good return. He's really my only option at
first base for regular production. i have deep selection off of the ww for 1b so here's what i'm thinking..

votto for tulo/santana

or

votto for lester/santana

either way.. drop martin/jeter (maybe morse?) and pickup trumbo or freeman

WW offers the following 1B - dunn, pena, freeman, smoak, trumbo, kotchman, hosmer, wallace, loney, kennedy

Any better deals you would make or think that would benefit myself more in the long run? I think asking for konerko/tulo is too much for one player.. plus i really want to upgrade my catcher situation. he says he likes mccann which makes me think he could be deal breaker if i try snag him. and santana is a definite upgrade over martin.

Currently i'm in first, but i spend most of the time in second and sneak into first every few weeks.

I'd do Votto/Tulo & Santana. I wouldn't even consider the second deal.

Grab Freeman or Pena, probably in that order.

Nah, the first trade you posted is the best one. Votto for Tulo/Santana I'd definitely do if I were the side getting Tulo/Santana. You get a definite upgrade at C and one of, if not THE best, SS's in the game. As far as for who to pick up, go with Freeman. If that guy were any hotter right now he'd be Hansel from Zoolander.

Freeman is hot now, but I think you would miss Votto. I don't know if the upgrades are worth the possible big downgrade at 1B. Can you trade a 2B for pitching instead since that is your team's strength?

I would definitely trade Votto for Tulo/Santana. And on the WW pick up Freeman until he cools down. Then if trumbo is still there, he may be better long term. if not, I like Freeman a LOT.

I like the first trade to get tulo/santana. But don't drop Moorse I'd keep him and pick up Freeman by dropping Martin or Jeter.
