I give Kevin Youklis ($39) and Alex Gordon (non-keeper, so cost is irrelevant)

I get Josh Hamilton ($20)

Make the deal?

From a cost savings perspective, it would save me a lot in next year's draft, and Hamilton in a better keeper IMO than Youk. But am i giving up too much right now?

I like Hamilton over Youklis and then you throw in the value...... You have to accept this!

I think its a good move for next year. I'd have to take this years standings into consideration as well though. Youk and Gordon will provide more this year, and if you need them for a run I might think twice, but purely based on value I'd say its a good move.

Definitely do this. Especially since I wouldn't keep Youk at $39 next year anyway. But that is a personaly opinion. Hamilton at $20 is a steal. Make the deal.

I agree.. for this year this is not the best trade for you. But, for next year this is a great deal.. Depends on where you are in the standing are you in contention or pretty well out of it? That would be my scale tipper on this deal.

if you take this deal you're not taking a huge loss.. but a loss. All involved are good players.
