6 KEEPERS H2H 6 CATS (TB and QS) Trading J Verlander Ty Wiggington and A Torres FOR Felix Hernandez, J Masterson and E Aybar

Eh...the trade really boils down to Verlander v. King Felix.


It's a fairly even trade. Obviously Verlander is pitching better THIS year, but Felix is just as likely to do what Verlander is doing.

Plus, you're trading two spare parts (Wigginton/Torres) for another pitcher (Masterson), who seems to be putting things together now. Aybar is also a nice player, and has more value than either of the two guys you're giving up.

You receive a bit more upside in exchange for giving up the best CURRENT pitcher. Not a bad deal.

Would you be keeping either Aybar or Masterson? Or is the only reason you're doing this is because you personally prefer Felix to Verlander?

i would rather keep Verlander.

actually, Torres and Wiggy were who i was dropping for Verlander for Felix , Masterson and Aybar, could use the SBs and the depth at SP will make me hard to beat THIS year, figure going into next year with Felix wont kill me
