Drop Freeman for Bonifacio? WHIR

Postby Bolthead04 » Mon Jul 18, 2011 12:21 am

Looking for some UTIL help always and Emilio Bonifacio looks like a decent add. I'm trying to package some trades, so my lineup is a little funky right now. Trumbo, Pagan, Brantley are the types available on the WW.

Leave a link and get some help back! :)

Rasmus and Werth have been better for you than Freeman lately? I don't see Bonifacio keeping it up but I def would not let Freeman go

They will turn it around I hope. Rasmus and Werth (and usually Morse before I dropped a bat) have been warming my benching this week.

I'm just lacking in speed, and wouldn't mind a speed add.

no way! I dont even know why you are considering to drop freeman right now hes been on fire as of late. Bonifacio is like a 1 week wonder I highly doubt he will keep it up. Again keep freeman. ATL is a good hitting club.

I agree with previous poster.

"Drop Freeman" doesn't roll off my tongue right now, but if you're in a league where you can just snatch Trumbo up off the waiver wire any old day when you need him... by all means, drop Freeman & ride the Bonifacio wave while it lasts.

I would think that Freeman (and Morse) should be in your everyday lineup right now over some of the others there. If you don't think so, consider trading him along with someone else in order to upgrade. But I wouldn't drop Freeman in a 12-tam league. I would grab Brantley as a source of runs and steals.

Yeah I'd much rather have Freeman the rest of the year than Bonafacio. He'll be WW material within a few weeks

I agree with this. I'm a big fan of Bonifacio right now. Hes' providing a lot of value for fantasy rosters. I wouldn't cut Freeman for him either, but having both would be best.

+2.

Move Werth and grab Bonifacio and insert him in the OF.

Then move Morse into your UTIL spot for Rasmus.
