peralta/pujols for cano/young

Postby osbtensor » Sun Jul 17, 2011 7:32 pm

I think this is a good deal... i'd be gaining pujols and co. I've got kinsler and espinosa at 2B and peralta would take over 3B for young on my team. i've got votto, so I don't really need another 1B, but pujols would be a great util player. lots o' production. i'm pretty sure this is a good deal.. if he'll bite. what do you guys think?

c - r. martin
1b - j. votto, c. pena
2b - i. kinsler, d. espinosa, r. cano
3b - m. young,
ss - d. jeter, e. aybar
of - m. morse, j. ellsbury, i. suzuki

YES, make the deal.....with your depth @ 2B, you can afford the move of Cano. Losing M.Young flexibility sucks, but Peralta can play 3B like you mentioned, and also play SS.

It is a tough one. I think it is a fair trade and actually could favor the Pujols side but you don't really need him and i would rather you trade Kinsler than Cano. I personally wouldn't want to put 2B in the hands of Kinsler if I didn't have to. Saying that I do think Pujols could have a big second half so if you are comfortable with Kinsler than make the deal.
