Weaver/Beltre/Weeks/Farnsworth for Cano/Sandoval/Greinke/Mo

Would give up Weaver/Beltre/Weeks/Farnsworth for Cano/Sandoval/Greinke/Rivera. I'm in first in ERA and WHIP by a large margin so can deal Weaver; my team weaknesses are AVG (second to last) and steals (which this isn't addressing). Also worried about Axford so Rivera would be an upgrade over Farnsworth. I like Cano over Weeks for ROS and hopefully Sandoval can keep it up but Beltre is killing it in Texas...

Thoughts?

I think Cano/Sandoval is completely fair for Beltre/Weeks. If anything, you win a bit, although you're losing out on stolen bases.

Weaver had been lights out, so it's tough to lose him, but Greinke is being called the "unluckiest" SP for the first half, and a lot of numbers and projections point to a much better second half. Plus, you're picking up the "best closer ever". With the question marks in your RP scenario (Will the Ax man still close? When is Parnell given his chance?) I think to get the most sure thing there is is a good idea.

I don't really like it. I do think it is a fair trade but what worries me is that you are getting more question marks in return than giving up. Sandoval is nice but far from a sure thing and has had his ups and downs so no guarantee how good that 2nd half will be. Greinke just doesn't look right and he didn't look right last year either. It might be that he is unlucky but it still worries me. Only big question mark on your side is Farnsworth and there could be enough movement in closer roles in the second half that you could find a suitable replacement from the WW.
