My Minor Leaguers

Just wanted some input on my minor league system for a 20 team dynasty league. So yes, we are deep..... guys you really don't like?

At a quick glance, I don't care for Flowers, Cardenas nor Mitchell.

I don't care for Cardenas either.
This is technically Mitchell's first full year, give him time.
I'd still give Flowers another season

Raben is a 24 year old in High A. Pass
There's gotta be better than Cortes out there too.

Otherwise looks solid enough.

Cardenas, DRob, Maya, Cortes, Gillies and possibly Raben don't do anything for me as prospects.

I actually like Cortes. He's been labeled a future closer or set up guy (we have holds in our league). I'm also waivering on Maya. He came in as a hot prospect, struggled in majors and lost some velocity. Now has come back with some good velocity this year in AAA.

RP'er prospects aren't worth keeping unless they are awesome. If you were active in free agency you could have picked up Pestano, WLopez, Guerra and probably 6-10 other guys that are actually good and currently in 7th, 8th or 9th inning roles.

Cortes also has a big issue with walks and has yet to put up good numbers in the minors.

Maya is almost 30 (in cuban years). He's throwing 88.8 this year and he doesn't strike anyone out. Yawn.

Like i said, this is a very very very deep league. All those set up guys were gone long ago. In this dynasty league you have also look at long term relievers too.

I'm in a 24 tm league so I know how deep it is. They might be gone now but new RP's emerge every season. And I'm not talking about a few. Every year a lot of RP'ers come out of absolutely nowhere to become elite guys. Meanwhile I think that a lot of RP'ing prospects flounder. And I just don't think Cortes is any good. If there was a top 25 RP'er prospect list he wouldn't be on it. And probably not a top 50 list either.
