IMO, this is not anywhere close to a value-for-value trade. The trio of Chavez, Wells, and Polanco is a big upgrade over Renteria, Berkman, and Burroughs.
That being said, I believe in the priciple of "let the buyer beware".

lol - I am exactly the opposite. Id rather have the renteria side.
Chavez is overrated - as is Polanco. Is Polanco even fantasy worthy now that we know he will have 0 protection in PHI?
The main point is that this is close enough to argue, therefore it should go through.
there is no way this should be vetoed. it isn't even clear which side is getting the better deal. A veto is not a tool for you to use when you think someone is improving their team enough to beat you.
If I was an owner involved in this trade and it was vetoed by the commish this early in the season, I would quit the league before anymore of time was wasted.
