I was offered Curtis Granderson for CC Sabathia in a straight up deal. It's a keeper league, and CC was one of my keepers from last year.
Scoring is a 6x6 league.
Currently, my outfielders are Jay Bruce, Drew Stubbs, Melky Cabrera, Jeff Francoeur, Bobby Abreu and Josh Willingham. I get to start a LF, CF, and RF. Currently, I'm starting Abreu in left, Cabrera in center and Francoeur in right, with Bruce in my utility slot. If I made the trade, I'd move Melky to LF and put Granderson in center.
For starting Pitchers, I've currently got Kershaw, Cliff Lee, Josh Tomlin, Hiroki Kuroda, Anibal Sanchez and CC. Paul Maholm is the best waiver SP available right now.
Is the loss of an elite pitcher worth what Granderson will bring to my team?
I think your pitching could take the hit and Granderson is a good pickup. I think he's having a breakout year and with it being a keeper league he would be more beneficial next year than CC.
jump on it, you need a stud in your OF much more than another ace

C- Chris Iannetta 1B- James Loney 2B- Aaron Hill SS- Asdrubal Cabrera 3B- Jose Bautista CI- Carlos Pena MI- Howie Kendrick LF- Bobby Abreu CF- Melky Cabrera RF- Jeff Francoeur UTIL- Jay Bruce
Bench- Josh Willingham, Mitch Moreland, Stephen Drew, Drew Stubbs, Danny Valencia
SP- CC SP- Kershaw RP- Drew Storen RP-Neftali Feliz P- Joel Hanrahan P-Cliff Lee P- Anibal Sanchez P-Josh Tomlin P- Hiroki Kuroda
Top batters available: Chase Headley, Laynce Nix, Nate Shierholtz, Mike Napoli, Alexi Casilla
Top pitchers availabe: Paul Maholm, Cory Luebke, Josh Collmenter, Aaron Harang, Freddy Garcia
This team needs a lot of help. First off, get Loney on your bench. What a scrub. You can slide Pena up to first and then slide a white-hot Valencia into your CI.
I'd also put Stubbs in my SL over Melky. I'd try and sell Melky/Francouer before they inevitably come back down to earth. Abreu is nothing special either. Your OF is somewhat weak, and I'd be very interested in knowing a much longer list of available OFs.
I'd drop Iannetta for Napoli as well.
In regards to the trade, I'd hold on CC since your pitching is shaky at best. Tomlin just had a rough outing, and Anibal is a tad unpredictable at this point. Yeah, you have Kershaw and Lee, but I always like 3 rock-solid SPs on my teams. I'd be tempted to jump on Luebke over Tomlin right now.

I'm first place in a 12 team league, and making distance on the lead every week. The team is performing just fine. I've got 10 top 100 players. The only reasonable advice you gave was getting Loney and iannetta out of there.
No, literally everything I said was reasonable. Would have been useful knowing it's a 12-team league before hand, but my opinion still remains. I confess myself utterly shocked that your team is in first. You're riding a lot of unexpectedly hot players, and I don't see the 10 top 100 players. I see Bautista/Cabrera/Bruce and your 3 stud starters.
