Should I hold on to KRod as a fifth closer, but he'll more than likely be a set up man getting an inning a game when called upon. Or should I drop him and pick up the two hot free agent prospects - Parnell (NYM) or Adams (SD).
My other closers are Chris Perez (21 Saves), Walden (20), Valverde (24) and Cordero (17).

I would say he can be dropped for Parnell. Although now the Brew-Crew is saying they'll do a closer by committee with K-Rod also getting some chances.
I actually like Parnell's stuff better than K-Rod's anyway. I think now that Parnell will have more of a prominent role, people are going to see what he's really capable of.

Krod is expendable for this year only for a closer-by-himself.
Krod might land a closing job next year though so long as his option doesn't vest. He will take a lesser contract to close somewhere.
