Was thinking of offering my Jurrjens for Asdrubal Cabrera. It would improve me at SS, which I feel is my weak spot on my offense. I could also make it Jurrjens and Aybar if you think I need to add something else.
I would try Aybar and Zimmermann first, and Aybar/Jurjenns if Zimm doesn't work. I like Cabrera a lot, but I wouldn't offer anything beyond those 2 pairs.

If you can get Cabrera for Jurrjens I would take it. Jurrjens has got to be at his absolute peak at this point. I don't think there could be any more of a sell-high, unless you're talking Alexi Oganda 3 weeks ago! Cabrera may have peaked a bit himself, but he's still weighing in at a top 4 or 5 short-stop right now and we all know how difficult it can be to get a short-stop producing at the rate he is. Alright, hope this helped!! -- Zac
I would do it. I just traded Cabrera and received a ton. Jurrjens is not going to continue what he has done for the entire year and SS is always a thin position. I believe if you can trade away SP for a big improvement in a bat, you should more times than not do it. Hell go pick up SP Whorley if he is available.
i was skeptical about cabrera early on this season, but he really has me convinced this is a true breakout. id definitely take him at this point. jurrjens is great and all, but i agree with most everyone else; he wont be this dominant for the rest of the season. but positional scarcity wins this offer. you will be able to find someone solid to fill in the absence of jurrjens easier than finding another quality SS.
I just flipped Jurrjens for Jay Bruce last week. Owner was fed up with Bruce's month-long slump and was sick of losing pitching every week. Was surprised he didn't ask for more.
See if you can get more for Jurrjens than Asdrubal...after 12-3 people start to believe.
(Don't mean to knock Asdrubal, but even don't believe in him yet and he's been slugging on my squad for months.)
I would go for it too. I love Jurrjens but everything you read says he's do for a major, or at least decent step backwards. Cabrera will be solid at SS all year. I have to say though, and perhaps I'm in the minority, but Aybar is doing pretty good and I'm not sure I'd want to give up him and Jurrjens. Zimmerman and Aybar would be awesome. Good luck!
