I take it that you are offering Pence for Halladay. If you can do the deal then go for it. I personally like hitting more than pitching because of injuries, but Halladay is really durable.

It'll take more, but not a WHOLE LOT more. I think that throwing in a mid-tier pitcher with upside (Garcia, Sanchez) plus Hunter Pence might be able to get it done, depending on 1). what the owner with Halladay needs and 2). what place the owner with Halladay is in.

If he's in first place, he's probably not going to want to make a move, but if he's in the middle of the pack and lacks an elite OF, he might bite.
