Roy Halladay for Hunter Pence? Rate this trade.

Is this a fair trade or does it require more to get Halladay?

It'll require more to net the best pitcher in the game.

I take it that you are offering Pence for Halladay. If you can do the deal then go for it. I personally like hitting more than pitching because of injuries, but Halladay is really durable.

J/w are any of the following players available for you to grab (and is this a keeper)?:
C
Wilin Rosario

1b
Paul Goldschmidt
Brandon Allen

3b (you need a 3b even someone that is usable!)
Matt Dominguez
Greg Dobbs (available?)
Brandon Hicks (showed good power at AAA, probably will win the job over Lugo)

OF
Brett Jackson ((Hunter Pence Jr, JD Drew Jr (healthy) )
Fernando Martinuez (if Beltran gets traded! - Think Raul Ibanez here)
Matt Diaz (struggling a bit, good p/u if he's available)

P
Jordan Lyles
Rudy Owens
Mark Rogers
Lance Lynn (will get a chance if something happens to another St. Louis starter)
Jarrod Parker (stash for next year!)
Javvy Guerra (sleeper closer alert)

It'll take more, but not a WHOLE LOT more. I think that throwing in a mid-tier pitcher with upside (Garcia, Sanchez) plus Hunter Pence might be able to get it done, depending on 1). what the owner with Halladay needs and 2). what place the owner with Halladay is in.

If he's in first place, he's probably not going to want to make a move, but if he's in the middle of the pack and lacks an elite OF, he might bite.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
