Time to drop Chacin?

Postby Bolthead04 » Sun Jul 10, 2011 12:26 pm

I've had him since week 1 or two, and he's been mostly great. However, he's been in a rough spot recently. As I see it, he's due for a regression, and I suspect he has more of the same coming.

Nolasco and Colon are on the wire, and I've been watching both of them closely. I've had them both at one point or another this season as well.

The league is 12 team H2H.

Well, Nolasco is somewhat proven of those others, if he shows any signs of being his old self I'd switch him for chacin, but I'd just hold off for now.

Chacin was outstanding today... don't let his two starts previously sway you. You'll really regret dropping him.

I'd drop Bastardo if you want to add Nolasco

I don't picture Chacin holding on to his performance all season. I am trying to work a trade Chacin + 1 to upgrade a batter... Maybe after this start, it will go through.

His two starts aren't my issue. His incredibly high walk total is an issue. His season compared to his averages suggests he will regress, which is an issue as well.

I didn't even start him today. :^
