Larry Walker is one of the best players in the league when healthy, especially at home in the thin air of Colorado. Unfortunately, he has had a history of injuries, playing more than 150 games just once in his career. In the last two seasons, he's missed time because of back, elbow, ankle, hamstring and thigh problems. To make matters worse for fantasy owners, it's often unclear whether Walker will play on any given day, resulting in those dreaded zeros in your box score.
Hopefully, this season will be different. He'd be a terrific secondary power hitter on any team, but having him as your primary source of power numbers is risky...
