We can keep 1 CI, 1 MI, 1 OF, 1 UTI, 1 SP and 1 RP.

Current roster:

C - Santana
1B - Hosmer
2B - Cuddyer
SS - Cabrera (would put Jeter here and drop Cabrera for another OF like Span or someone...who actually scores well in our format)
3B - Zim
OF - Holliday
OF - Stanton
OF - Boesch
UTI - Swisher
UTI - Huff

Bench: Prado and Hunter with Reyes on the DL and Lawrie filling a minor league slot (we get two DL slots or 1 DL and 1 ML)

Well he certainly wouldn't be your OF keeper, but I don't like losing his power from that lineup and Jeter hasn't been exactly tearing it up. I think I'd prob just play the waiver here untill Reyes comes back. Hopefully the injury doesn't linger. Thnx for the help on mine.

Well, all but one vote against the deal...and I'm not all that surprised.

But, for what it's worth...

Again, this is a points league...I think a couple guys might have missed that.

I know CBS gets ripped all the time for its site...but...I think it's worth noting that based on our site's "projections for the rest of the season" that Jeter is projected higher than Boesch. In fact, Jeter would be a top-10 SS the rest of the way (close to the top-5) and Boesch would be around #35 with a FA Span projected a few spots ahead. Maybe it's CBS being stupid...maybe it's the uniqueness of our scoring system...or maybe it means something, idk.

Right now though, I'd say popular opinion is pretty clear. Thanks for all the input ya'll!

i can't see that much value for Jeter over most WW pickups at SS. Boesch, however, is better than most WW pickups at OF. No go.

I understand what youre saying, but projected stats are meaningless halfway throught the season. Avoid Jeter, theres no reason to trade a hot player for him

Prisoner of the moments? It was just one game back. Even after today I still wouldn't make this trade.

For the rest of the season I see Jeter batting .270 with 5 more HR's and 25 RBI's
I see Boesch regressing some but still batting around .285 with 9 HR's and 38 RBI's.

If you really need a SS and like Jeter then go for it, but I would take the power and stick with Boesch.

couldn't agree more, i barely think Jeter is a top 20 option for the rest of the year, hes one of the best players of the last 2 decades, but ageing greats don't always make great fantasy players at the end of their careers.
