Just dealt Ellsbury/Hanson for CarGo in a keeper - thoughts?

I just dealt Ellsbury and Hanson for Cargo in my 14 team roto keeper league, 5x5. We keep 5 players based on the rounds they were drafted in the previous season. Ellsbury was a 2nd rounder, Hanson a 13th rounder, and Cargo a 4th rounder. Cargo will likely replace Asdrubal or Kershaw on my keeper list. My team is comfortably in 1st place, but I wanted to land Cargo for the future. Thoughts on this deal?

I like the trade for future, getting the 2nd round pick you will have now, but this year losing Hanson hurts your staff.

I agree. Cargo is definitely a great keeper and will help you in the future, but losing Hanson hurts the depth of your pitching staff.

You guys don't think I'll "get by" with a staff of Verlander, Kershaw, Bumgarner, Dempster, Carrasco, Harden, E Santana? In a 14 team league? I'm not too worried

I agree. Cargo is definitely a great keeper and will help you in the future, but losing Hanson hurts the depth of your pitching staff.

^^ +1. Hanson's a stud, but CarGo is too. I think your next move should be trying to find someone to replace the hole Hanson's leaving

Just have a nice DL spot warm for Harden......... I think you can get by though. A little concern with Gonzalez and his wrist injury, having problems gripping the bat, but I'm sure that's temporary.
