Time to sell, need advice

Dynasty League, last place. Seeking to build for future.

My assets: Matt Holliday, Chase Utley, Shin Soo-Choo, Jayson Werth

1) Which has the most downside? Which is best for me to trade now?

2) One pending trade offer I have up for consideration is: Holliday for Desmond Jennings and Johan Santana. I am worried Santana will continue to get injured next year and beyond.

The manager also has the following up and coming players I like: Carlos Santana, Gaby Sanchez, Charlie Blockman, Mike Stanton, Dustin Ackley, Mike Trout, Brandon Belt, Julio Teheran, Jeremey Hellickson, and Daniel Hudson.

Any ideas of fair counter offers is appreciated.

okay well for sure holiday for desmond jennings and whatever else is a no go hes gonna be good for 2 -3 years atleast forget about johan santana 2007 was light years ago before all the arm crap


chase utley is old and not getting any better and i think the top 5 2bag days are a thing of the past with him to fragile gettin up there in age but everyone knows him look to a terrible 2bag team and look to get some young talent there

1. decline the trade offer. you DO NOT want Johan, esp if your trying to rebuild.
DO NOT trade Holliday unless you absolutely rape someone in the deal. hes the best player you have, and will be a top 20 hitter for several more years. If you can get Stanton AND Jennings, or Santana or Sanchez + Hudson + a lesser piece, i would consider that.

2.Trade Utley. hes set to experience the sharpest decline of the players you listed, adn his injuries are already limiting his value. get what you can for him before he loses even more value.

3. Trade Werth. Hes in atough park to hit in and teh Nats lineup will be weak for several more years. Batting leadoff is also hurting his value, altho i dont expect that to continue in future seasons.

4. I would say Choo has potential to bounce back next year with a customary 20/20/.300 productive season and will get you much more value in return in a trade then. Dont trade him now. Hes been terrible, hes hurt, and his value is at all an time low. You wont get anything for him now. Wait it out and get yourself proper value.

5. i would target:
Stanton,
G.Sanchez, Santana,
Hudson,
Hellickson, Trout
in that order.
Stanton is the clear cut prize of that bunch tho
