I think you can ask for more in return than just Hanley.

I'm with you, I'd probably gamble on it too. As you said, you're not keeping either of them so all you need is the rest of the season. Felix will continue pitching for a completely inept hitting team (and the rest of your starters look like they can carry the load), but Hanley supposedly just retooled his swing and was put into the cleanup spot by McKeon.

if this was an elite 3bag id say do it because micheal cuddyer is prolly not someone you wanna rely on later on down the line


and i trust yunel to atleast keep up the pace hes on now which isnt amazing but its above average


if you could package cuddyer yunel dunn morse 2 or 3 of those 4 for a serious 3bagger then the hanley deal would be awsome hell have a awsome second half i swear it LoL

Ok well the CI and MI spots are extremely flexible on this team.

Cuddyer qualifies at 1B,2B,3B,OF
Walker qualifies at 2B,3B

So with Hanley at SS, I can start any 3 of Cuddyer/Walker/Yunel/Aramis.

I'd do it. Hanley is an upgrade over Escobar and if it closely resembles anything to a top 3 pick the second half of the season you are set for the playoffs.

Felix is good but not Felix-esque so far. I'm sure he'll have a month where he's untouchable but your pitching is deep enough.

This is a good deal, but I do think you could ask for a little bit more then just Hanley. If you have no one you would want to drop though to make room for another player then just accept it.

Thanks for the help on mine, I do agree with others that you can and should get more for Felix than (a slightly hot Hanley). But if he doesn't budge then take this deal.
