Doesn't have his own thread so might as well see if we can jinx him.
He's always been considered at least a decent prospect in the Red Sox organization, but has usually been held back by a questionable eye. In addition, Ryan Kalish has been more highly touted the last couple of years thus burying his prospects a littler further. Well this season, things have really been on the up and up. First, Kalish suffered a partial labrum tear that potentially might wreck the rest of his season. More importantly, it seems Reddick has finally figured some things out as evidenced by a career high walk % in AAA and cutting his K's all the while maintaining his power stroke. In his short stints in the majors this season, he seems to be continuing this trend plus he's showing that he can perhaps hit lefties.
The Red Sox org might be willing to go with him here on out too. Today, Mike Cameron was designated for assignment, and many feel McDonald might be next once Crawford comes off the DL. Lastly, JD Drew has been a dud the entire year and Francona and Co could be done giving him regular minutes. If Reddick continues to perform well, he could end up being a being a decent fantasy asset considering his playing time and the BoSox lineup.
With JD Drew having such a miserable season, I imagine he will be starting most games in right, at least when there is righty on the mound.

If there is any justice, this would be so.
Still, I think the club envisions Kalish as the long term answer in RF and may try to flip Reddick while he is raking.

I'd bet this was the prevailing thought for the longest, but the Sox have to be considering Josh might be the future now. The guy hasn't wavered from his new hitting approach as he's really only swinging at hitter's pitches and his stats support it (albeit no way he stays this locked in). Have caught as many of his at-bats as possible and he continues to impress me. Fastballs aren't getting by him but he's laying off so many breaking balls especially out of the zone. With guys like Beltran and Ludwick as best available OF's, I feel the Sox are now interested enough to play him out the rest of the year and go from there.
Sean McAdam reported Sunday evening that Red Sox right fielder J.D. Drew will be placed on the Disabled List with a shoulder impingement.
My team overflowith with OF'ers all of sudden. Reddick fulltime player, Jennings promoted and Vic/CC off the DL. And that doesn't include the guys that I was starting or Bourjos who needs to be activated.
