Werth + Alexei Ramirez for Drew Stubbs?

I've been gunning for Stubbs since day 1, and it's not been going well. He needs pitching, but he won't bite on Werth + Latos or any other combo I offer.

So, I'm thinking this. He does have S. Castro at SS currently and no other SS elig.

I would pick up JJ Hardy off the wire if I did this.



Any thoughts?

I like Stubbs a lot, but since he has been dropped in the order he has struggled and not sure he has the same value. It's going to be really hard to get any value out of Werth right now, so basically you have to hope he heats up soon.

The reason I can't trade is that some people in my league aren't the brightest.

I have gotten Pineda, Morse, Pagan, Chacin, Beachy, Espinosa, Berkman, and Swisher off the WW for example. For some reason, everyone is always leaving the good ones behind for me...

Tell me about it, I got Beachy, Swisher and Chris Young(AZ) off the WW in one of mine. The problem in these leagues is that people dont see value for what it is. If you were to do this, their team would be better overall, but so would yours, and thats what they're seeing. I think if you've been gunning for Stubbs since day 1, and made it known, it will take a trade disproportianly favored towards the other guy. Here is a thought.... Why not try to get the most out of Pineda while you can. Give up on Stubbs cause by this point youd have to give up more than you want to get him, and the trade you proposed will not only get you turned down most likely, but is not fair in your end. Try to get a better OF for Pineda than Stubbs, cause hes worth more right now and will not be at seasons end

first thing i wanna say is trippysg you getting chris young on the waiver wire is abso insane LoL

yea theres no value whatsoever right now in werth its a guy you prolly spent a decent pick and the only thing you can do is hold your breath and hope he does well the second half


and i hate the trade by the way werths to valuable to suck this bad and make 18 million bucks a year hes a big time turn around canidate i think

I doubt it, but I sure hope so.

I already flipped Pineda (and Norris and Berkman and one drafted guy) for Verlander plus others from the same guy who has Stubbs. My pitching has been killing other than Latos.....
