i stopped chasing harden 5 years ago. Im actually disappointed in his first start back. He usually goes scoreless through 6 with about 8-10 k's whenever he comes off the DL.
I own him in a few leagues, yet feel like this thread will be amended to read: Rich Harden is back... on the DL
In truth though, I think you have to ride it out and see how he does. Everyone knows his injury history, so expecting anything of even modest value is expecting a lot. Give him a month though, if he's not complaining of having a bit of stiffness in his shoulder, feeling a bit of soreness in his elbow or any other number of possibilities, then see if there is a market.
I started him last week, and will continue to do so again, as long as he isn't facing a team with a bunch of patient hitters (Yankees/Red Sox, etc.).
He's free, and other than last year, has never been -awful-. Usually won't help the WHIP that much, but I'm in dire need of Ks and Ws, and my ERA/WHIP can survive a hit or two (3.191 and 1.192, respectively).

I agree. I picked him up for nothing, and I think he'll be good enough to merit a spot in my rotation as long as he's healthy. If he has a couple good starts and then he gets hurt and I have to drop him, so be it.
