Gio Gonzalez deal WHIR

Currently in 1st place in my money league up by 5 games.

I've been offered Gio Gonzalez for Eric Hosmer and a 2nd round pick (equates to a player ranked around 120 as 96 are kept)

I wouldn't call my staff weak but with JJ's health in question I wouldn't mind adding another solid SP. I also have Votto and Tex taking up my 1B and UT slots so Hosmer hasn't been able to get into my lineup. I know he has great potential but that's all it really is at this point and I think that Gio would be a very nice pickup for me going forward and make my team tough to catch.

I would see if he could give you a slightly better pitcher, but if he cant I still think this is a great deal and I would go for it.

Yeah I'd jump all over that deal, you need another arm and Gonzalez has #2 SP upside here on out. Think Oswalt if he were healthy.

If Gio can keep up these numbers he's looking awesome as my 4th or 5th SP.
Since we count QS instead of W's his value gets a boost as his team doesn't hurt him.

Well there is even more reason why you should accept the trade. Gio's only downfall was the fact that he pitches for the A's, but if your team counts QS instead of W's, then you are set.
