My Granderson for Cruz/Avila. WHIR!

Just got offered Nelson Cruz and Alex Avila for Granderson. Been looking for better output from catcher for a while. Got Wieters and he's just so......bland and vanilla. Rest of my offense as follows: Tex, Espinosa, Longoria, Asdrubel, Ichiro, Boesch, Pena. (Choo on DL)

Cruz has already been hurt, which of course as we all know, certainly doesn't preclude him from another stint on the ol' DL, but perhaps he's already gotten that out of his system for the year..... Avila is for sure an upgrade over Wieters.....right now. Will he keep this up? And is this going to be Grandy's career year? It easily looks like it at this point. But can he keep this pace up? Seems unlikely. He is one of my better sources of steals, but Cruz can tear off a few bags too, although he really hasn't yet this season.

I kinda want to pull the trigger, but there are a lot of uncertainties. But aren't there always? I'm unsure about this one, guys. A few opinions sure would help!!

thanks for the help on mine. i dont love it for you as i'm not buying on grandy, cruz is a walking medical bill sure but when producing he's the best player in this deal. seems like a buy high / sell low for me which i never recommend. just my $0.02.

Sorry I may have misworded that. I was offered Cruz/Avila for Granderson, not the other way around.... So it sounds like you approve if I'm selling on Grandy...?

i think i probably do this......all 3 of these guys are no lock to produce.......i own both granderson and cruz and to be honest i do not know who i value more at this point. if cruz stays healthy i think he will hit more hrs and rbis. Avila looks like a top catcher, but will he keep it up? i might take a gamble on him......its a close deal could go either way....i just might do it though

I would probably stand w/ Granderson and Weiters over Cruz and Avila, but it's close.

the bottom line is who is going to produce more this point foward between cruz and granderson...in my opinion, cruz will be the guy, so go for it
