14-Team Roto Greinke for Baker, Salas, Melancon?

14-team 7x7 Roto...we keep 15 and redraft 10. Here is my roster

C-Iannetta, Soto
1B-Cabrera, Rizzo
2B-Pedroia, Casilla
3B-Zimmerman, Callaspo
SS-Al. Ramirez
OF-Stubbs, Victorino, Swicher, Pagan, Kubel (DL)
UTIL-Lind

SP-Lester, Greinke, Marcum, Billingsley, Wolf, Vargas, Leake, Colon (DL), McCarthy (DL), Harang (DL)
RP-K-Rod, Street, Uehera, Robertson

I am in 3rd place with over 150 points. This other team is out of it and wants to start dealing. The offer is: Greinke for Scott Baker, Mark Melancon & Fernando Salas.

What are your thoughts? I think I need MORE SP, and would rather just move a draft pick for a guy like Melancon.

Appreciate any thoughts you may have. Thanks in advance!

This is not a good trade for you, as you are hurting your already so-so starting pitching and only gaining strength in relief pitching. This is rarely a good idea and in your case, that applies. If you could get an SP instead of Melancon or even a hitter I might consider this, but it would have to be a rather solid player, because as is, you are giving up the best player by a very wide margin.

That is what I was thinking as well. I would like to move a #1 or #2 pick fora 3rd closer or a more solid #5 SP. I have full faith in a Billingsley rebound given his BABIP, but I don't think I win the league with a 5th quality SP.
