With Choo's broken thumb you need the OF depth, and Shields is a definite need for your SP staff. I say do it!

Packaging 3 lesser guys for 1 guy is a classic keeper move where the guy getting 1 guy almost always makes out well. You always have to consider the VORP when making a deal like this. The other issue is what your team is doing this season. So I would like to know:

1. How are you in the standing this season, and do you think you can win.

2. How many outfielders do you start.

3. What is the bench situation.

4. Who is available on the WW for outfield and SP.


You can just take the advice of Hootie at face value and I think he is probably right, but I would need those 4 things to make a fully informed opinion. Thanks bud.
