The question that needs to be asked is WHY are you driving 9-10 hours thru MN just to enter Canada.

Life expectancy in Canada 81.3, infant mortality rate 4.5, per capita expenditure on healthcare $3,895
In US life expectancy 78.1, infant mortality rate 6.9 and per capita expenditure $7,290

The Canadian system has some problems but my family has always gotten great care and I know of very few people who have ever experienced any problems. Don't know why you feel the need to take pot shots at our system.
