Which pitchers to start next week? WHIR

Postby cmcdonal2001 » Fri Jun 24, 2011 4:34 pm

I've got a glut of decent pitching options for this next week; just wanted to get a little input on which you would start. H2H 10 team league, Pitching cats: Wins, Losses, Saves, ERA, WHIP, QS, and K. I can start 6 of the following. Will return all help.

Sabathia (@NYM)
Hernandez (@ATL)
Hamels (@TOR)
Bedard (ATL, SD)
Cueto (@TB)
Beachy (@SEA, BAL)
Carpenter (@BAL)
Jurjjens (BAL)
Gee (@NYY)
Lohse (@BAL, @TB)

I'm also thinking of cutting one of these guys (I need to pick up someone on offense), and am leaning towards Gee or Lohse. Thoughts?

I agree with the above posters. I don't feel Dillon Gee will do too well vs Yankees offense. Even though, he's like 3-0 with a 4.15 ERA on the road. Don't think he'll get much run support if he wants to win. Whereas, a guy like Sabathia gets a pretty good cushion.
