The Fantasy Baseball King's Top 50 Fantasy Prospects

Postby fantasybaseballking » Fri Jun 24, 2011 3:05 pm

#'s 41-50 http://thefantasybaseballking.com/2011/06/24/657/

50. Wilmer Flores, SS (NYM) ETA: 2013 Flores has been on the prospect radar since his fantastic debut, when he hit .307/.347/.468 as a 16 year old across Rookie, Low-A, and Single-A ball back in 2008. He’s been up and down since then, but packs plenty of projection since he’s always amongst the youngest players at his level. Currently in High-A, Flores still has work to do with the bat and in the field. Long-term, he likely will be moved from SS, so he’ll have to hit.

Ceiling: Miguel Cabrera
More LIkely: Joe Randa

Ugh..."Ceiling: Miguel Cabrera" I think a more realistic ceiling would make more sense...even if he had a 1 in 1,000 chance of being MCab doesn't mean you should put that as his ceiling..it's just not realistic.
