Simple: Is there a winner in this trade?

Ten-team 5x5 non-keeper

Team A gets Joey Votto and Matt Capps

Team B gets Adrian Gonzalez

Did one team come out ahead here, or is this a pretty even deal?

I think it is pretty even. Capps to me doesn't have much value but helps to even it up. I like Adrian better than Votto.

Pretty even... Votto and Gonzo are close enough and Capps is just inconsequential either way in comparison. If you put Capps on the Gonzo side of the deal, I'd feel the same way about it.
