Should I make this trade for Mauer WHIR

I have Russell Martin as my Catcher and I have putz, santos and hanrahan as my other closers

I'd give BJ Upton and Mariano Rivera
I'd get Mauer, Matt Harrison and Frank Fransisco

Its a roto league in yahoo.

This is a tough one, since Francisco isn't the solidified closer in Toronto yet and Mauer has had injury issues. But if you are optimistic on Mauer going forward and you think he will return to form, definitely accept the trade. Because if he does I think you will be the winner here.

I would say no. I don't think you gain that match with Mauer and you're on the losing side of the trade otherwise.

Mauer is a risk. I'd try to to offer BJ and Santos for just Mauer. Forget Harrison and Francisco. Neither is woerh you kicking in any talent for.
