I am in a 12-team H2H non-keeper league. This trade was just offered to me and would like some feedback about it. I am watching the Phillies game and they just took Oswalt out because of back discomfort (which had placed him on the DL earlier this season).

No way I'm making that trade. Gio is good and Eithier is too, but I think you're giving up Votto for 75 cents on the dollar. You don't have a need for another OF, so why take the big downgrade at 1b? Keep Votto, and hope Oswalt is ok. Even if Oswalt is out for the year, I'd still not make this trade.

You can get more value then that out of Votto and Oswalt. Try and make a counter-offer or just tell him to up his ante.

So just because Oswalt comes out of a game you are going to trade away the best player in the deal, Votto...... Makes no sense.

There's a reason Votto was a top five pick coming into the year. Only deal him if you get a big time stud back in return.
